Google officially released the Android 13 upgrade for eligible Pixel phones, earlier this month. And now is the time for other smartphone OEMs to kick things up and provide the new software update to the supported devices. Some OEMs shared a detailed roadmap and some confirmed the list of phones which will get the new update.
Last year, TCL was one of the select cell phone manufacturers that released the developer preview of the new Android update. But the company has not confirmed anything like that with Android 13 upgrade.
So, if you own a TCL phone and want to know whether your phone will receive the Android 13 upgrade or not, we curated a complete list of TCL phones which are eligible for the Android 13 update.
Every Android upgrade is a huge software upgrade for Android phones, and the Android 13 is no different. As we already received a major revamp last year with Android 12, it doesn’t bring major visual changes. However, still, it is a feature-rich upgrade rolling with extended Material You color scheme, a new music player, per app language, photo privacy, a new clipboard, notification permissions for apps, and more.
Now talking about the availability, the upgrade is already in a rolling phase for the Pixel phones. And Google confirms in its official blog post, that the Android 13 “roll out to your favorite devices from Samsung Galaxy, Asus, HMD (Nokia phones), iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, Vivo, Xiaomi, and more” will be released later this year. And the same can be said for TCL phones.
The upgrade availability timing depends on the company’s roll out schedule. And as always TCL did not share any roll-out plan for Android 13. But TCL officially confirms the new software plans for its phones.
Last year, after launching the TCL 20-series, the company officially confirmed that the 20-series phones will receive a minimum of two major software updates alongside the security updates. There’s no such thing guaranteed for the TCL 30-series and TCL Stylus 5G phones yet, but, both 30-series and Stylus 5G should receive Android 13 update. Now let’s move on to the list of TCL phones which will get Android 12 update.

So these TCL phones are expected to receive the Android 13 upgrade. The roll-out timing is not confirmed, it may come later this year or next year.
