The new version of Microsoft Edge gives users full control over importing personal data from the legacy version of Microsoft Edge. The new version of Microsoft Edge is included in a Windows system update, so the option to uninstall it or use the legacy version of Microsoft Edge will no longer be available.
But, there’s a way by which you can easily remove or uninstall Microsoft Edge browser from Windows 10 desktop or laptop.
How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 (Easily)
As of now, you can remove the Edge browser from Windows 10, by tweak settings. We don’t know how long this method will work. here are the steps that you can follow to uninstall Edge from Windows 10.
- At first, Open Command Prompt as an admin.
- Now copy the below mentioned source, then paste it in CMD.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\83.0.478.58\Installer
- Then, execute this command.
setup.exe --uninstall --system-level --verbose-logging -- force-uninstall
All done? Restart your system. That’s it.
In case you want to reinstall it in the future, then you can easily download the latest version from Microsoft’s official website and sideload it manually on your system.
