As is customary, Samsung has released a new version of the “Over The Horizon” ringtone ahead of the launch of its new flagship devices.
Each year, “Over The Horizon” is released with a different theme. The latest version highlights the grandeur and delicacy of nature. It specifically expresses the harmony between earth and technology. This year’s theme is officially titled “A Soundtrack of the Earth.”
The Galaxy S26’s “Over The Horizon” ringtone was composed by Eunike Tanzil, a Los Angeles-based composer and pianist. The new remake is thoughtfully arranged to convey different natural landscapes.
Brass and horns represent majestic mountains, smooth strings evoke the calm sea, and the Indonesian instrument angklung adds a unique cultural touch. Here’s a quote from the composer:
“The process of blending instruments with different identities was a joyful endeavor, and it has become a meaningful part of my musical journey.”
The latest 2026 “Over The Horizon” track was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. To deliver a more immersive sound experience, producer and engineer Jonathan Allen utilized Dolby Atmos technology.
