Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 8 beta will be available starting next week for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The beta program will be available in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India. There’s no word on whether the beta will be extended to other regions such as Germany or Poland.
In September, the One UI 8 beta program will include other models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, and Galaxy A54.
Samsung has delayed the stable version of One UI 8, and it will now be released in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. Initially, Samsung had planned to release it by the end of Summer, but it seems we’ll have to wait another month for the stable version of One UI 8.
One UI 8 is Samsung’s next major update based on Android 16 for Galaxy phones. As seen in the One UI 8 beta builds for the Galaxy S25, the update brings several improvements and new features, including the new Adaptive lock screen clock, updated stock apps, improved animations, and more.
Interested users with eligible Galaxy models in supported regions can join the One UI 8 beta program through the Samsung Members app once it becomes available. After enrolling, the beta update will be available immediately. Just make sure to back up your data before installing the update.
