Samsung is preparing to launch its Snapdragon X Elite ARM-powered laptops soon. Earlier today, images and specifications for the forthcoming Galaxy Book4 Edge and Book4 Edge Pro were revealed via WinFuture. And, we now have the pricing details for these upcoming laptops.
In February, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Book 4 line of laptops. The series includes the Galaxy Book4, Book4 Pro, and Book4 Ultra. Galaxy Book4 and Book4 Pro models are also available in 360-degree variants. All these laptops are powered by Intel chips.
Now the company is set to add one more model to the lineup – the Galaxy Book4 Edge. For starters, the Edge will be available in 14-inch and the Edge Pro in 16-inch screen size. These new laptops will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, positioning them as strong competitors to the MacBook Pro.
For pricing, the Sweden-based computer retail store, ComputerSalg, has listed both variants of the Edge series on its online store with limited information. According to the listing, the 14-inch model will be priced at SEK 20,927.00 (approx. $1,952 / €1,791), while the 16-inch model will cost SEK 22,085.00 (approx. $2,060 / €1,890).
The laptop was initially rumored to be priced around €1,800. And the Swedish pricing solidifies the rumored pricing. It is important to note that pricing may vary across regions.
The listing reaffirms the 16GB RAM, 512GB onboard store, and Arctic Blue color variant. Just like the other Galaxy Book4 laptops, the Edge series is also expected to bring AI features to the board. Another notable change on the laptop is the addition of a Copilot key.
