Samsung Galaxy M15 quietly goes official with 6,000mAh battery, 4 OS updates, and 50MP camera

Samsung is preparing to add a bunch of new mid-range phones to its portfolio. The company has already announced the launch date of its A-series phones, scheduled for March 11. Now, the South Korean tech giant quietly launched the Galaxy M15 5G in select markets. The phone goes official in Iraq and regions of Levant.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy F15 in India and it is expected that the company will launch the M-series rebrand very soon. Although, the Galaxy M15 is listed on the Samsung’s official website, the company is yet to reveal availability and pricing details.

Samsung Galaxy M15 – Specs

The Galaxy M15 comes in three hues – Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Gray. The new smartphone brings a 90Hz Super AMOLED, a 6.5-inch panel with a tear drop notch at the top and 800 nits in High Brightness Mode. Samsung hasn’t officially disclosed the processor details, but, it is expected that the Galaxy M15 has MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and Android 14 OS.

The phone will receive four OS updates and five years of security updates in future. The listing reveals 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage for the Galaxy M15, it also has a microSD card slot. The Galaxy M15 boasts a 6,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.

Samsung’s new M-series affordable mid-ranger also has a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, the Galaxy M15 dons a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone measures about 160.1 x 76.8 x 9.3mm and weighs 217 grams.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy M15 dawns a triple-lens camera module on the back. The setup features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone features a 13MP snapper on the front.
