The popular special platform – Snapchat is now rolling out the option to edit your messages. Yes, this is a feature that should have been added a long time ago. But, hey, it’s better late than never. Editing Your Messages on Snapchat
You can now get rid of errors and typos thanks to the Edit feature for Snapchat. There is however a catch. You can edit the message as long as it has been 5 minutes or less. Beyond 5 minutes, the mistake stays as a mistake. This time-limit edit feature is common on a lot of messaging platforms, such as WhatsApp and even Facebook Messenger.
While this feature will roll out soon, Snapchat+ users will be the first pens to get this feature. So, if you’re not a Snapchat+ member, you might have to wait for a bit longer.
React to a Message with Any Emoji
Message reactions are also another feature that has been on many other messaging platforms. While Snapchat did have the option to react to messages, you could only use Bitmoji to react to the message. From now on, you will not be able to use any emoji of your choice to react to a message on Snapchat. This feature will also slowly be rolling out to all users in the coming weeks.
Say Hello via Snap Maps
The Maps feature in Snapchat is a great way to see where your friends are. The location will be visible only if the user has agreed to share their location data. If not agreed, you cannot see your Snapchat friends’ locations. But now, if you have friends who share their location via the Snap Map, you can easily send a wave or a heart reaction to them right from the Maps screen.
My AI Gets Better
Snapchat’s AI is now a bit smarter. If you want to be reminded of something, such as an event or a task, you can now ask My AI to remind you about the particular task. My AI will also present you with a countdown timer within the app so that you do not miss the task you planned to do.
Create Custom Bitmoji Looks
Powered by AI, you can now create your custom Bitmoji character look by using prompts. This helps you to create a unique or for that matter a better representation of yourself via Bitmoji. You can even change the type of clothes as well as its design using prompts.
Do More With AI-Powered Lenses
AI is making things easier and better for everyone. Now with AI, you can create various lenses. Simply snap a picture of yourself and use AI to go back in time with the 90s AI Lens. You can now use such lenses as snaps which can be shared with your friends,
