A few weeks back, the Indian smartphone OEM – Lava Mobiles, announced the first Indian 5G smartphone in the form of the Lava AGNI 5G. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC, 64MP Quadruple camera module, 6.78-inch big panel, and 5,000mAh battery are the key attractions of the Lava AGNI 5G smartphone. The AGNI is the company’s first phone to come with the Camera2 API support, which means you can now sideload the Pixel 6 Camera app (aka GCam mod) easily and capture some impressive shots. Lava AGNI 5G dawns four cameras on its backside, joined by the 64MP primary sensor of f/1.8 aperture and 0.7-micron pixel size. The other three cameras are the 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The default camera app on the Lava AGNI 5G doesn’t feel new, the UI looks a bit older, but still the app capture decent images. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset equipped Lava AGNI 5G supports the Camera2 API with RAW, which means you can easily install the GCam app on the smartphone. The fresh GCam 8.3 port by BSG, GCam 8.1 beta, and the GCam 7.4 by Nikita are working on the Lava AGNI 5G smartphone. One of the best things is, you can access all features of the app, obviously, the Night Sight Mode and Astrophotography mode are also compatible.

Note: Before Installing the new Gcam Mod ported app, make sure to delete the older version (if you’ve installed). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so it may have some bugs.

  1. Download this config file.
  2. Then, head over to the file manager and create a new folder called, GCam.
  3. Open GCam folder and create one more folder with configs7 name.
  4. Now paste the config file inside the configs7 folder.
  5. Once done, Open the Google Camera app and double tap on the black blank area placed next to the shutter button.
  6. Tap on the config file, available in the popup & press the restore button.
  7. Go back to the app drawer and then open the app again.

While for MGC_8.1 and GCam 8.3, there’s no need to configure many settings, but still you can play with GCam settings according to your needs for better results.
