After months of leaks and rumors, all three devices from the Galaxy S25 lineup saw the light of day at the latest Unpacked event. The latest lineup of Galaxy S smartphones include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

No doubt, these smartphones offer some impressive features, including the magic of Galaxy AI. But Iโ€™m sure many of you must be wondering whether the Galaxy S25 series smartphones come with an SD card slot for expanding storageโ€”and rightly so. Since you are spending your money on these devices, you want to get the most out of them.

These days, smartphones are considered the best storage option as they allow you to access your data whenever and wherever required. Here, we are talking about managing hundreds and thousands of photos, videos, files, and whatnot.

But for someone dealing with an extra volume of data, itโ€™s ideal to know that the smartphone youโ€™re buying allows for expanding storage. For that reason, you must be wondering, โ€œDoes the Samsung Galaxy S25 series have an SD card slot?โ€ Well, we are here to answer that.

Do the Galaxy S25 (Ultra) models come with an SD card slot?

The short and not-so-sweet answer is NO, as the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and the S25 Ultra donโ€™t have an SD card slot. Since there isnโ€™t an SD card slot, Samsung offers all three Galaxy S25 series phones with multiple internal storage options, making it easier for you to choose according to your needs.

Speaking of that, the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus come with 128GB/ 256GB and 256GB/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, respectively. Not to mention, both smartphones are paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

On the other hand, the beefier Galaxy S25 Ultra shares similar internal storage options as the Plus model, though you can also choose the Ultra’s 1TB storage model. While the Galaxy S25 Ultra is also paired with the same 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 16GB RAM model will be also available in some regions.

What are my alternatives if I want more storage on the Galaxy S25 series?

If you feel like having more storage, the 1TB model of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the way to go. For someone willing to go with the vanilla or Plus model, we recommend choosing the 256GB and 512GB storage variant, respectively.

If you want to stick with the base storage variant for whatever reasons, here are few tips to manage and expand the storage of your Galaxy S25 series phone.

  1. Remove unnecessary data from your phone, including photos, videos, and files.
  2. We also recommend removing/uninstalling infrequently used apps, and app’s data cache.
  3. If you want to free up all the space from your Galaxy S25 series phones, the drastic step is to wipe all the data.
  4. Cloud storage can be a great alternative to using extra storage without shelling out tons of bucks.
  5. You can also buy a portable SSDs or look for some reliable pen drives for mobiles like the SanDisk 1TB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe.
