Asus starts recruiting testers for ZenFone 9 Android 13 Beta Program

Asus has been testing the Android 13 on its last year’s ZenFone 8 Flip since May. And now the firm kicks off the Android 13 closed beta testing program for the recently launched ZenFone 9. If you’re a proud ZenFone 9 owner and want to try out the new software, then you can sign up for the beta program.

Asus announces the recruitment program on its community forum, anyone can take a part in the beta program before the recruitment is closed. It is going to be the first major software upgrade for the ZenFone 9, as the device comes with ZenUI based on Android 12 out of the box. So, if you want to taste the new features, then you can follow the steps mentioned below to join the program.

On your Asus ZenFone 9, head over to the System update section in the Settings app, then tap on the gear icon at the top right corner. Now select Enroll in the Beta Test Program, then click on agree after reading Asus’s privacy policy, sign up for the members account, and then submit your application.

Asus will review your application, if your application got approved, you will receive the Android 13 beta upgrade on your ZenFone 9 via special OTA. As it is a closed beta program, there are limited seats in the program, although, the exact number of seats did not disclose by Asus. But if you want to try out the new software, then submit your application before the recruitment process is closed.

Note: The beta updates are not good for daily usage, we recommend installing it on secondary smartphone.

Speaking about the features and changes, then you can expect enhanced Material You theming support with more app icon color options, revamped Music Player, Bluetooth LE audio support, per-app language feature, app notifications permission privacy feature, alongside the other privacy and security features.
