The third beta of iOS 26.4 is now rolling out to developers and beta testers on eligible iPhone models. This update brings us closer than ever before to the official iOS 26.4 release. The latest beta also introduces a few refinements and changes to the new features.
Today, Apple also released several other updates, including iPadOS 26.4 Beta 3, watchOS 26.4 Beta 3, tvOS 26.4 Beta 3, and visionOS 26.4 Beta 3. The new iOS 26.4 Beta 3 comes with build number 23E5223f. The update size may vary depending on the model and the current update.
Now, let’s talk about the changes in iOS 26.4 Beta 3. It doesn’t introduce any new features but changes but rather modifies the features introduced in previous betas. The playlist playground for Music now shows New Playlist Ideas for easy creation. New emojis that were expected to be available in this beta are present, but they appear with a ? in a box, indicating that they may be available in the next beta.
There aren’t any major changes that make this beta stand out. However, it’s an improvement over the last beta and a step closer to the official iOS 26.4 release.
If you own an eligible iPhone model and want to test the iOS 26.4 early, you can do so by selecting beta updates in Settings > General > Software Update > Beta updates. Once you opt for the beta, the latest iOS 26.4 Beta 3 will be available for download.
Before installing the beta update, it’s recommended to take a backup. This backup can be useful if you decide to downgrade to an official version.
