Google has released a minor update, Android 16 Beta 3.2, which includes bug fixes. This minor beta update is available for the following Pixel devices:
- Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
- Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
- Pixel 7a
- Pixel Fold
- Pixel Tablet
- Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
- Pixel 8a
- Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold
Since the Android 16 release in AOSP is imminent, Google is now prioritizing bug fixes and stability improvements for its public release. Those who have joined the Android 16 beta program can already test new features and changes on their eligible Pixel devices.
The Android 16 Beta 3.2 update is available with build number BP22.250221.015. It includes the March 2025 Security Patch, similar to the one in Beta 3.
As mentioned earlier, this beta is primarily focused on addressing bugs like haptic feedback miscalibrated, excessive battery drain, screen flickering, and more. Here are the official changes:
- Fixed an issue that caused haptic feedback to be miscalibrated in some cases.
- Fixed an issue that caused excessive battery drain even while a device wasn’t in use.
- Fixed an issue for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices that sometimes caused the screen to flicker when taking photos or videos with the camera.
- Fixed various other issues that were impacting system stability and usability.
The Android 16 Beta 3.2 is rolling out to Pixel users who have enrolled in the Android 16 beta program. If you havenโt joined the beta program yet, you can skip it since the stable release is only a few weeks away.
