Google has just released the Android 16 Beta 3.1 update. It comes within a week of the release of Android 16 Beta 3, which helps the OS reach the platform-stability mark. With today’s gradual upgrade, Google addressed some issues to improve the performance of Pixel devices.
Google pushes the incremental software upgrade ending with the BP22.250221.013 build number. It is a small patch with a download size of around 6.7MB. If your Pixel is already running on the Android 16 beta, you can easily upgrade your device to the newest beta build.
In terms of availability, the Android 16 beta is available for all Pixel devices starting from the Pixel 6 series. The update is also available for the Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Now moving to the changes coming with the gradual upgrade, the update addresses the issue causing the system Settings app to crash when the default language is other than English, screen brightness issues, battery drain issue, and more.
