Xiaomi starts rolling out the Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 update for Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 13 globally. Both phones are getting the latest major update even before their 5G variants. The global stable update is available for the 4G and 4G NFC variants of both devices.
HyperOS 2.0 is an Android 15-based custom skin for Xiaomi devices. It was announced in the last quarter of 2024. And its global rollout began in November.
As usual, Xiaomi shared the official roadmap outlining the rollout plans in two phases. The first batch of devices started getting the stable update in November, while the second batch started getting the update in December.
Redmi Note 13 4G/NFC is part of the first batch while the Redmi Note 12 4G/NFC is part of the second batch.
The HyperOS 2.0 update for the Redmi Note 13 4G/NFC is rolling out with build number 2.0.4.0.VNGMIXM/2.0.6.0.VNHMIXM and the update for the Redmi Note 12 4G/NFC is available with build number 2.0.8.0.VMTMIXM/2.0.8.0.VMGMIXM.
