This week, Xiaomi kick-started the global rollout of Android 16-centric HyperOS 3.0 skin with the Xiaomi 15T series. Xiaomi plants a new Android 16 stable update to the Xiaomi 15 with 3.0.4.0.WOCEUXM firmware version. As a major OS upgrade, it weighs a hefty 8.2GB, so ensure your device has sufficient storage before downloading. Note that beta users may receive a smaller incremental update compared to the full public release.

For the time being, the update is in its initial rollout phase and limited to select users in the EU region. A broader rollout should begin soon. Before installing, make sure to back up your important data. Xiaomi 15 users can now upgrade their device to the first major OS upgrade.
