After recently releasing the Smart Band 9, Xiaomi is planning to launch the Smart Band 9 Pro soon. The Pro models features a much larger screen that look like a real smartwatch but comes with certain limitations. These bands are the ideal for those primarily focused on tracking fitness stats.
We have managed to get the renders of the upcoming Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro that show minor design changes and color options as well. Compare to last generation Xiaomi Band 8 Pro, which was launched earlier this year, the changes are minimal. But the band is much improved compared to a few years ago.
I still remember my second gen band which came with a very small display and there was no Pro model at that time. Now we get a bigger colorful display with small bezels and look similar to smartwatches.
According to the renders we have, the Xiaomi Band 9 Pro will be available in at least three color options. The color options are: Silver, Black, and Gold. There can be more color options but we only know about three right now. Now let’s take a look at what the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro looks like.

As seen in the renders, the Band 9 Pro’s display is slightly curved while previous model has a flat display. As you can see in the pictures, the Xiaomi Band 9 Pro has slightly improved TPU strap. The connecting of the strap is now at the end (the connecting design is similar to Apple watch). There is a pill shaped button for lock.
The side frame of the Xiaomi Band 9 Pro has rough surface unlike the Band 8 pro which has a glossy metal frame. Xiaomi Band 9 Pro display also looks a bit bigger with smaller bezels, but there is no major improvement. Once the display size is revealed, we would be able to interpret the bezels even more clearly.
