Vivo is planning to launch its next foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold 6, later this year. The device has already appeared in a few recent leaks, and now its specifications have also surfaced. The leak reveals details like processor, battery, camera, display, and more.
The specifications were shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. This new leak contradicts earlier rumors that suggested the Fold 6 would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Instead, it is now said to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
This latest leak appears to be the more reliable, as it comes closer to the device’s expected launch timeframe, and the source has a strong track record of accurate information.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to feature an 8.02-inch inner display with a 2K resolution and a 6.51-inch outer display. The display specifications are quite similar to its successor, the Vivo X Fold 5, which has an 8.03-inch inner and 6.53-inch outer display.
According to the source, the Vivo X Fold 6 will have three rear cameras: a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. There are also two selfie cameras, one on each display, both with a 20MP sensor.
The Vivo X Fold 6 will boast a large 7000mAh battery with wireless charging support. The source also mentioned that the foldable will have improved water and dust resistance ratings.
