Vivo X100 and X100 Pro now receiving OriginOS 6 update

Vivo is slowly expanding the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 update to compatible devices. The company has already released the update for its flagship Vivo X200 series, whereas the beta is available for the Vivo X200 FE. Now the company has released the beta for Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. Vivo is seeding the OriginOS 6 trial version to the X100 with PD2309F_EX_16.2.7.5.W30 and X100 Pro with PD2324F_EX_A_16.2.6.13.W30 software version. Vivo X100 duo was launched with Android 14 operating system, and now these phones are all set to receive the second major OS upgrade. As it is a big update, it weighs a whopping 4GB in download size.

In terms of features and changes, OriginOS 6 update for Vivo X100 duo is rolling out with a revamped user interface, smooth animations, AI lightning, redesigned media player, enhanced lock screen customization, and many other features. Since the update is based on Android 16, it also includes stock Android features. The update changelog is the same as mentioned on this page.

If you reside in India and own the Vivo X100 duo, you can now upgrade your device to OriginOS 6 based Android 16 update by navigating to Settings > About Phone > System updates > version Trial > Trial version > download and install.
