Breaking: Samsung releases stable One UI 8 based Android 16 update for Galaxy S25

The wait is finally over. Samsung has started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.0 based Android 16 update for Galaxy S25 line of devices. The South Korean tech giant is pushing the anticipated software upgrade with a flurry of new features, changes, and fixes.

Samsung plants the new software upgrade on the Galaxy S25 with S93xNKSU5BYI3 firmware version. At the moment, the stable rollout goes live in mainland South Korea with a download size of around 3.9GB. The update can be expected to be available in the UK, USA, India, Germany, Poland, and other parts of Europe soon.

If you already participated in the One UI 8 beta program, you may have already received the stable update; with a broader rollout to commence in a matter of time. The update is already available to many S25 users; here’s a screenshot shared by Tarun Vats.

If you own a Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, or S25 Ultra, you can now upgrade your smartphone to One UI 8 stable update. To check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update. Once the update is available on your phone, you can download and install it. Don’t forget to back up your data just in case.
