Another Samsung Galaxy device has started receiving the Android 13 and One UI 5 update. The Galaxy A71 5G is the latest Galaxy phone to receive the stable Android 13 update. Its 4G variant received the latest update only last month. And lastly, 5G users can also enjoy the new features of Android 13 and One UI 5.
Samsung is already ahead of other OEMs in bringing the Android 13 update. The big tech giant will soon reach the milestone of completing the Android 13 rollout. But will Samsung be able to achieve this by this year or will it take some more time? Time will tell.
The Android 13 update is available for Galaxy A71 5G Model SM-A716B, and the update is currently rolling out in UAE. Other regions are expected to receive the update soon. The latest update for Galaxy A71 5G is rolling out with build number A716BXXU6EVL2.
Galaxy A71 5G was released in mid 2020 with Android 10. Later the device received Android 11 and Android 12 update. The device now finally receiving Android 13 which is the device’s third major update and probably the last big update.
Just like Android 13 and One UI 5 update for other devices, it also brings a bunch of new features to the Galaxy A71 5G. Some of the new features include new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, more color palettes, OCR like capability to copy text from images, improved app icons, smoother animations, new modes and routines, widgets stacking, and more. If you are a Galaxy A71 5G user, you can expect the update on your phone anytime. Now, this is a batch rollout so it may take some time to be available to all eligible devices. Users will receive the OTA update notification. But in case if OTA update notification doesnโt work you need to manually check for the update. To do that go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Before updating your phone to Android 13, make sure to backup your device and charge it to at least 50%.
