Android 11 is now publicly available for more than two months now. And many brands have already started working on the Android 11 based custom OS including Samsung. However Samsung hasn’t rolled out the stable Android 11 update to the public, it is still in the beta phase. Till now Samsung has released the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta for many devices including Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S10 series, and a few more. And recently someone discovered that Samsung is reportedly testing Android 11 on Galaxy S10 Lite.
The latest Android 11 will be available on Samsung phones as One UI 3.0. The One UI 3.0 beta first kicked off for the Galaxy S20 series and later followed by Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S10 series. This Korean tech-giant is actively working on the One UI 3.0 beta for many Galaxy phones along with One UI 2.5 update. And once the first public release of One UI 3.0 is out, the company will not stop and you expect the Android 11 release for at least two devices in a month.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite released more than six months after the main S10 series. And you already know Samsung is also testing the Android S10 series. Galaxy S10 Lite is not a part of the main Galaxy S10 series but surprisingly Samsung is already testing out Android 11 on Galaxy S10 Lite. So yes if you have the Galaxy S10 Lite then expect the Android 11 update soon.
One of the Reddit users named Fantastic-Lime-3420 has shared a screenshot in which the model SM-770F received the Android 11 firmware dated 24th October. The SM-770F is a Galaxy S10 Lite which is available in UAE. The user has checked the status in the third-party app called CheckFirm. If you have the Galaxy S10 Lite, then you can also use the upcoming firmware for your device in the CheckFirm tool.
The latest test firmware for Galaxy S10 Lite is the upcoming Android 11 based One UI 3.0. Galaxy S10 Lite will be among a few phones to receive Android 11 in the first phase when Samsung starts rolling the Android 11 update.
The newer build brings a bunch of UI changes to the smartphone, One UI 3.0 comes with an overhauled Notification panel and long press menu for apps, a new Volume controls layout, intuitive lock screen and Bixby Routines, a flurry of customizations to AOD, and much more. Not only this, but the update also brings the essential features of Android 11 alongside the revamped monthly security patch.
