Compared to last year, Samsung is faster with the Android 13 based One UI 5 update. And according to the latest comment from Samsung during a recent press release, Samsung is going to release Android 14 even faster. But even this year Samsung is ahead of other Android based OEMs.
So far, Samsung has rolled out updates for its flagship phones from the past three years as well as several mid-range phones like the Galaxy A52, Galaxy M32, Galaxy M52, and Galaxy A73. With the current rate, most Samsung phones are expected to get the stable Android 13 update by the end of this year.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite was released later than the Note 10 series, so it’s the latest Galaxy device from the original Note 10 series. Galaxy Note 10 Lite Android 13 based One UI 5 update is rolling out in Europe region specifically in France. And soon it will be available to other regions as well. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite was released with Android 10 and hence this is the third major update for the device. Unfortunately, this is going to be the last major update, but still, it is rare for a three year old phone to get a major update this fast.
Now talking about the changes and new features, the One UI 5 update brings a long list of changes to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The list includes improved animations, UI changes, new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, more color palette, new big widgets, improved security, and privacy, per app language, and a lot more. One UI 5 update also upgrades the Android Security Patch to November 2022.
The Android 13 based One UI 5 update for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is currently rolling out in France. So if you’re a Galaxy Note 10 Lite user in France, you might have already got the update, and if you don’t, expect the update soon. Users in other regions can also expect the OTA update soon. To manually check for the update go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. And once the update is available, install it on your device.
