Samsung Galaxy A52 starts receiving stable Android 13 Update (One UI 5)

It’s really hard to deliver a major update to a bunch of phones, but Samsung is making it a lot easier when it comes to the Android 13 update. Yes, Samsung has already started the Android 13 rollout for more than ten of its devices and is adding more devices to the list every week. Another Samsung phone, the Galaxy A52 is now getting the official Android 13 based One UI 5 update.

The stable One UI 5 update journey started back in the second fortnight of October. And in less than a month, Samsung released the update for Galaxy S22 series, S21 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy M32, Galaxy M52, Tab S8, and many other Galaxy phones. Who would have thought that budget phones and mid range phones would get a major update so soon? At the same time, other companies are struggling with Android 13 beta testing.

Samsung Galaxy A52 was launched early last year with Android 11 OS. And the device received Android 12 update this year which was the first major update for the device. Now the device is getting its second major update which is Android 13 based One UI 5.

The One UI 5 update for Galaxy A52 is live in Russia and comes with build number A525FXXU4CVJB. Considering it’s a Samsung phone, the update will be released soon in other regions. If you are a Galaxy A52 user, expect the update to be big so use WiFi to download the update.

Now coming to what makes this update interesting is the new features and improvements. One UI 5 brings fast and smooth animations, more color palettes, new and big widgets, improved privacy and security, and many other changes. Since the One UI 5 update changelog is quite the same for all devices, you can check the S22 Update changelog here. The update also upgrades the Android Security Patch to November 2022.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy A52’s One UI 5 update is currently live in Russia but it will be available in other regions soon. If you are a Galaxy A52 user, you will receive the OTA update on your phone soon if you haven’t received it already. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. It will show if the update is available.

Before updating your phone to Android 13 update, don’t forget to take backup of important data and charge your phone to at least 50%.
