The Roku Channel – an ad-supported platform for Roku TVs – has been upgraded with the addition of 11 new free channels. Considering it an early Christmas gift for its users, these new channels are available across all devices powered by RokuOS, including smart TVs, streaming boxes, and plug-in devices.
Throughout the year, Roku has added several free channels, allowing its users to watch more content while also preventing existing customers from switching to other streaming sources and services.
As reported by the team over at Cord Cutters News, Roku added 11 of its new channels on the quiet. The newly added channels cover news, entertainment, classic TV, and the like.
