Google has been steadily improving the streaming experience with its Google TV Freeplay service. The tech giant regularly adds new free-to-watch channels, and ahead of the upcoming holiday season, it has expanded the lineup once again. With the addition of new channels, the Google TV Freeplay now stands at 252 free channels.
All new channels are ad-supported channels and can be accessed via the Live tab on Google Chromecast and Google TV Streamer. The additions span various categories, including local news channels across the US. There is no information on whether Google is planning to roll this service out to other regions or not.
New Google TV Freeplay Channels for the Holiday Season
Google has decided to join in the celebration of the holiday season and provide even more free TV channels to its Google TV Freeplay service. As reported by 9to5Google, the service now stands at 252 free channels. Here’s the list of FAST channels that have been added to Google TV Freeplay.
