Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta Program goes live for Realme 8 Pro

Two months back, Realme started testing its Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 custom skin on Realme 8 Pro through early access program. The company has now expanded the access to more users with open beta access. Realme has recently announced the open beta access for Realme X7 Max 5G, GT Neo 2, and GT Master Edition. And now the Realme 8 Pro, users can access all goodies of Realme UI 3.0 after joining the open beta program. Read along to know more about Realme 8 Pro Realme UI 3.0 open beta update.

Realme has officially shared the details of the open beta program on its community forum. As per the details, the program is limited to users running on the RMX3081_11.A.45 software version. As it is an open beta program, there’s no limit of seats, anyone can take a part in the program. If your phone is already running on the early access build, then you’ll receive the open beta build over the air. As this is the first major upgrade, it requires a big chunk of data for downloading, I suggest you connect your phone to a WiFi connection.

Talking about the features, then the Realme UI 3.0 comes with features such as the new 3D icons, Omoji 3D avatars, AOD 2.0, dynamic theming, new privacy controls, refreshed user interface, PC connect, and much more. Obviously, users can also access the essentials of Android 12. If you want to join the open beta program, then here’s how you can join the Realme UI 3.0 open beta program on Realme 8 Pro.

If you’re using the Realme 8 Pro and want to upgrade to the Realme UI 3.0 open beta, then make sure to update your smartphone to the RMX3081_11.A.45 version number. Before joining the open beta program, take a backup of important data to prevent data loss, make sure that your phone is charged at least 60%, and make sure it is not rooted. You can also roll back to Android 11 if you want, the details are available on Realme’s community forum.

  1. Head over to the Settings on your Realme 8 Pro.
  2. Then go to Software Update and tap on the Settings icon present in the top right corner.
  3. Next select Trial Versions > Early Access > Apply Now and submit your details.
  4. That’s it.

As mentioned earlier, the application will be accepted in different batches, if your application got approved, then you’ll receive the update via special OTA.
