Last month, Realme began its Android 14 campaign by rolling out the Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 to the Realme 11 Pro, Realme 11 Pro+, and Realme Narzo 60 Pro. Now the company is expanding the anticipated update to two more phones – Realme C55 and Realme Narzo N55.
As always, Realme has officially shared the rollout details through its community forum. If you own the C55 or Narzo N55, your smartphone needs to be running on any of these two builds ending with A.63 or A.68 to receive the update.
The update is rolling out in a staged manner, it will be available to everyone in a matter of time. If you’re a beta tester, then you will get the stable update with an incremental OTA update.
In terms of features and changes, Realme UI 5.0 comes out with several new additions including Multiple AOD & Widgets, new intuitive animations, smart charging, Phone Link, Improved multi-tasking with RAM Vitalization and Trinity Engine, and more.
Despite being the stable Android 14 update, Realme didn’t mention all changes coming with the update in the release notes. Here’s the official changelog, highlighting two features.
- Security and Privacy
- Improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps.
- Aquamorphic Design
- Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.
- Improves system animations by making them even smoother.
If you own Realme C55 or Narzo N55, you will receive the OTA update on your phone soon. Sometimes the update arrives on phone, but its notification doesnโt appear, so make sure to check for the update manually from Settings.
