Talking about the camera, Pocophone F1 packs with a dual lens on the back with 12MP + 5MP lens, which has a f/1.9 aperture, 4K recording @30fps, PDAF, and more. On the front, a 20MP single lens helps you in capturing great shots with f/2.0 aperture, HDR support & [email protected] video recording. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 based on MIUI 10 which is now being updated to Android 9.0 Pie. So, Let’s dive into the process.

The new Android Pie stable update on Poco F1 has arrived via OTA (over-the-air) update. Xiaomi starts rolling out the update to the users one by one, so it might take time to reach to every smartphone. You will receive the notification on your phone, then you can update your phone via Settings. But, if you want to get the pie update just now then you can also update Poco F1 to Android Pie Stable update via OTA ZIP.


Steps to Update:

  1. At first Download the OTA ZIP, from the above link.
  2. Now, Open Settings on your phone.
  3. Head over to About phone > System Update.
  4. Tap on three-dots icon available at the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Then, Click on Choose update Package and select the downloaded ZIP file.
  6. It will start updating your Poco F1 to Android Pie update.
  7. Restart your phone & Enjoy Android Pie.
  8. That’s it.

Note: According to the moderator of the MIUI forum, The new Android Pie update for Poco F1 comes with a build number of V10.1.3.0.PEJMIFI, which was V10.0.4.0.OEJMIFH on Oreo.
