Oppo silently pushes ColorOS 16 update to Reno 13F

Early this month, Oppo kick-started the ColorOS 16 rollout for Reno 13 and Reno 14 Pro. Today, the company has extended the stable Android 16 update to the more affordable Reno 13F. The update is rolling out with plenty of new features, enhancements, and fixes.

ColorOS 16 update for Reno 13F is sowing with CPH2701_16.0.0.202 (EX01) build number. Oppo Reno 13F was launched with Android 15 operating system, now receiving its first major software upgrade. As per the details shared by device owners, the update weighs a whopping 3.72GB in download size.

For the time being, the update is available to a small set of users; it will be available to everyone in the coming days. Make sure you have at least 6-7GB of free storage space on your device. You can connect your device to a stable WiFi connection for quick installation.

If you’re in a haste and want to update your device to the newest software upgrade, please ensure your phone is running on the newest available ColorOS 15 build. If your phone is running on older software, update it to the latest version.

Moving to the features, Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update features a major design overhaul, improved performance, smoother animations, and a plethora of new features and updated system apps. Apart from these changes, the update will bump up the monthly security patch version.

You can request the ColorOS 16 update by navigating to Settings > System & Update > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Beta Program > Release Candidate > Apply Now.
