In June Samsung began the One UI 6 Watch Beta testing. Initially, the beta was only available for the latest Galaxy Watch 6 models. Now, the other two eligible models, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5, are also getting accepted in the beta program.
The South Korean tech giant is gearing up for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event that will be held on July 10. At the event, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Watch7 series and the new One UI 6 Watch.
With the launch date approaching, Samsung is picking up the pace and expanding the One UI 6 Watch Beta program to its older Galaxy Watches. However, you should know that the beta program is only available in the US and Samsung’s home country South Korea.
Many users have reported receiving the Watch Beta on their Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5. Currently, it seems the beta is available only for the Bluetooth variant and not the LTE variant. But, it should not take long for it to be available for the LTE models too.
The first One UI 6 Watch beta was released in mid-June with many new features like AI integration to health monitoring, a bunch of new gestures to control the watch, set favorite emojis, save image attachments, a new default font, and many other new features.
Two weeks later, the company released a second beta for One UI 6 Watch, which included some bug fixes and improvements. Soon after the second beta release, the beta program is now available for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 models.
