NASCAR 21: Ignition Trailer

Motorsports Games revealed a gameplay trailer during the 2021 Gamescom event. The trailer shows off a bit of the early gameplay. Overall a short trailer that could have shown off a bit more stuff of the game, but that is all we get so far.

NASCAR 21: Ignition Gameplay

So. what can we expect from the NASCAR 21 Ignition gameplay? A lot of things. For starters, you will have all original NASCAR Cup Series events. You will also get to race around with official drivers, teams, and tracks from the 2021 Cup Season. To make the NASCAR experience feel more lively, you also have a voice, commentaries, and pre-race buildup from MRN Radio 23XI Racing’s Freddie Craft.

The game also borrows up a few components that will help better the player experience such as the game physics and the AI being taken from rFactor- a game that is such a popular racing simulator game developed by Studio 397. You also have a ton of tracks such as the Circuit of the Americas, Daytona Road Course, and Nashville Superspeedway that you can race along with. Even better is the Paint Booth that you can use to customize your NASCAR liveries and even slap on a racing number that you like the most. The cars that you will be able to drive around are the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, and the Toyota Camry.

Apart from just playing solo races, you will also be able to play against other racers via the Online PvP mode. However, there is no gameplay available that showcases the multiplayer functionality of NASCAR 21: Ignition. Now, a game would be incomplete without any soundtracks, so yes there are songs from various popular artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Imagine Dragons, Aerosmith, Luke Combs, and many other artists that are yet to be revealed. The cars in the game have been designed with NASCAR’s help and guidance.

This is done to make the game feel more realistic rather than simply playing a racing game that has basic model cars which won’t give you any realistic feel at all. There are even driver assists available that you can turn on or off depending on whether you are playing a NASCAR game for the first time or have always been playing them around for a long time. The best part of the game is that you can play the career mode where you get to progress and create a legacy for yourself in NASCAR racing.

The game is available to play on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you plan to upgrade to a new generation console you will be able to upgrade your previous generation copy of the game for free which can be played on the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5.
