iOS 14.2.1 update is rolling out for iPhone 12 Series

iOS 14.2.1 is the third update of this week including the iOS 14.3 Beta 2. And about a day ago Apple released the revised iOS 14.2 update which is available only through iTunes and Finder for iPhone 12 series. And the third update which is iOS 14.2.1 is also the update for only iPhone 12 series. The rollout begins at the standard time, unlike the last two beta updates. Here we will share the iOS 14.2.1 update information with you.

The update fixes bugs specific to the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. And it is rolling out as an OTA update, so you will get the update to your phone unlike the revised iOS 14.2. If you have any issues with the current iOS update then you should update to the latest iOS 14.2.1 update.

iOS 14.2.1 update for iPhone 12 is available with the build version 18B121. And the update size varies as per the different iPhone 12 models. Apple has also released the macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 update with build number 20B50 and you can directly install it on your Mac. Download & Install iOS 14.2.1

The update is limited to only iPhone 12 series. So if you have iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, or iPhone 12 Pro Max then you can update to the latest iOS 14.2.1. The update will be available on the device as OTA. So if you are not on any beta then you can update your iPhone 12 to the latest iOS 14.2.1.

In case if you didn’t get an update notification on your iPhone. Then you can go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for the latest update. And once you see the update you can click on ‘Download & Install’ to get the update.

You can also install the updates manually with iTunes or Finder. You can use IPSW files if you are planning to install it through your computer.
