Now, there are two ways that you can follow to watch StreamEast on your Roku using a PC. The first way is to use an HDMI cable by connecting one end to your Roku TV and the other end to your PC. This will not work for those who have a Roku streaming stick. Roku streaming stick users will have to use the wireless method.
- Switch on your Roku device and your PC, and ensure that both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Now, on your PC, launch your favorite web browser and head over to the StreamEast website.
- Once you have a stream running, press the Windows and K buttons to pull up the Wireless Cast menu.
- Now select your Roku device from the list. Your PC’s screen will not be wirelessly cast to your Roku device.
How to Watch StreamEast on Roku using a macOS
This will only work if you have a Roku device that supports Apple AirPlay. Roku devices that do not have Apple AirPlay 2 will not be displayed when searching for a wireless display with your macOS device.
- Connect your macOS device and your Roku device to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Now open the web browser and head over to the StreamEast website.
- Now, click on the Control Center icon at the top and choose Screen Mirroring.
- Now, you should see your Apple AirPlay 2-supported Roku device in the list.
- Select the device, follow the onscreen instructions, and you can now watch StreamEast on your Roku device.
How to Watch StreamEast on Roku using Android
Similarly, you can use an Android smartphone to cast its screen on your Roku device. Here’s how you can do that.
- Check that both devices are connected to the same network.
- Launch the web browser on your Android smartphone and head over to the StreamEast website.
- Now, depending on your Android device, launch the Settings app and search for the Cast or Screen Mirroring option.
- Select it and then choose your Roku wireless display from the list.
- In a few moments, your device’s screen will be mirrored to your Roku.
How to Watch StreamEast on Roku using an iPhone
As long as your Roku device supports Apple AirPlay 2, you won’t have any problem with screen mirroring your iPhone to the Roku device. Here are the steps.
- Launch your favorite web browser on your iPhone and head to the StreamEast website.
- Now pull down the Control Center and tap on the Screen Mirroring tile.
- Make sure that your iPhone and the Roku device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- From the screen mirroring list, you should see your Roku device. Tap on it.
- Once you have followed the instructions on the Roku’s screen, you can now watch StreamEast on your Roku right away.
While it’s not technically streaming, it’s one way to watch it on your big screen Roku TV. This is the best that you can do when a service does not have an official and an unofficial app for you to sideload.
