Step 1: Press the Home button and then open APPS page.

Step 2: Now navigate to the Downloaded App section using the Down button.

Step 3: Long-press the OK/Enter button on the app you wish to move. And select Add to Home.

Once added to Homepage, you can now rearrange the order of apps visible in homepage. This way you can keep your most used apps first so that you can launch them quickly.

Step 1: Go to the homepage of your TV using the Home button.

Step 2: To rearrange an app, first go to the app icon to highlight it. Then press and hold the Ok/Enter button, then choose Move.

Step 3: Use the left or right directional keys to move the app, then press the Ok button.

How to Remove Apps from the Home Screen

If you want to remove an app from the home screen of the Samsung smart TV, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Under the Apps, click on Edit List. It will be present at the end of the list.

Step 2: Head over to the app you want to remove and tap the down-directional button on the remote.

Step 3: Select Remove from the menu that appears.

Step 4: Once you do, the app will be removed from the home screen.

How to Lock Apps on Samsung Smart TV

The Samsung smart TV also allows users to lock or unlock an app. Locking apps on Samsung smart TVs requires a PIN as confirmation. Generally, it’s 0000, which is the default PIN for your TV if you have not changed it. Here’s how you can lock and unlock an app:

Step 1: Press the Home key on the remote.

Step 2: Tap on Apps > Settings.

Step 3: Navigate to the app you want to lock.

Step 4: A menu appears for every app you highlight; choose Lock.

Step 5: Enter the PIN for your TV to lock the app.

Step 6: To unlock an app, repeat the same steps, select Unlock, and then enter your PIN.
