How to Add Quick Toggles in Power Menu
It is possible to add custom toggles with the help of a third party app called ‘Power Menu Controls’. The app offers a good amount of functions that you can add in the power menu for easier controls. Later other apps may add support for various functions in the new Android 11’s power menu. But for now you can use this cool app for functions like volume controls, brightness etc. Let’s now jump into the steps for adding custom toggles in Android 11’s power menu.
Download Power Menu Controls App
As you know we will be using a third party app. So first you need to download and install the app from Play Store. It is available for free so you will all have to do is Install the app.
Open PlayStore on your device and search for Power Menu Controls. Find the app from ‘BaltiApps’ and install it on your smartphone with Android 11 OS. It will take time according to the internet speed.
Grant Permission to the App
After installing the Power Menu Controls app, open it on your device. If you want you can skip tutorials as we will guide you to easily use the app.
The app will ask for two permissions, one to modify settings and other to draw over apps. You can allow it directly by tapping on the options in the App. After giving permissions, you will see green ticks just next to the required permissions.
Enable Toggles in the App
The next step is to enable toggles directly in the App. Once you open the app you will find some available toggles that you can use. Some of the available toggles are Brightness, Music Volume, Alarm Volume, Torch, and many other control functions.
To enable the available functions, just click on toggle just next to the options. Once you have enabled all the toggles that you want, you can proceed further.
Add Toggles in Power Menu on Android 11
Now here comes the last part which will let you add custom toggles in your Android 11’s power menu.
First long press the power button until it takes to the Power Menu. There you will find some toggle if you have already added. But if not then it will show a blank screen.
If there are already some toggles you added manually then Click on three dots > Add controls > See Other Apps > power menu shortcuts. And if there are no toggles then click on Device Controls > power menu shortcuts.
It will show all the available controls that you enabled in the third steps. Tick all the controls that you want to add in the Power Menu and then click Save.
After adding all your favorite controls go back to the home screen. And now when you open Power Menu on Android 11 you will find all your favorite toggles for quick controls.
