Honor silently launches entry-level X5b and X5b Plus

Just a few days back, Honor X5b made its appearance on the Google Play Console. Now the company has silently launched two new entry-level phones – Honor X5b and Honor X5b Plus. These phones are available for purchase in Middle East countries.

Honor has officially listed the X5b Plus on its Saudi Arabia store, whereas, the X5b is available for purchase on multiple e-commerce stores in Oman and other Middle East countries.

In terms of differences, the Honor X5b debuts with 64GB internal storage, while, the Plus model comes with 128GB onboard storage. Both phones are paired with 4GB RAM.

Honor X5b Plus

For photography, the vanilla model features a 13MP primary camera, whereas, the Plus model boasts a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There are two cameras on the back of the smartphone, where the secondary sensor is a 0.8MP snapper. For selfies, the phone has a 5MP snapper on the front.

The Honor X5b duo comes with a basic LTE-only MediaTek Helio G36 chipset and runs on Android 14 based on the MagicOS 8.0 operating system. Honor X5b phones feature a 6.56-inch TFT LCD panel with a tear-drop notch and 720 X 1612 pixels resolution.

These new phones are paired with a 5,200mAh battery. Honor X5b series comes in Flowing Blue and Flowing Black color shades. The vanilla model costs OMR 29.9 ($78). Talking about the Honor X5b Plus, then it is priced at SAR 399 ($106).
