Grow a Garden is a fun little experience that you can enjoy in Roblox. The game is like a mini farm simulator where you are tasked with growing different plants and eventually harvesting them as well. Additionally, the game lets you gift different pets to your friends.
However, the ability to gift a pet has currently been disabled, and this has become a problem for a lot of players, with many of them being disappointed. So, the main question that everyone is asking is if you can fix the pet gifting disabled in Grow a Garden.
Can You Fix Pet Gifting Disabled in Grow a Garden?
The short answer is No. There is nothing players can do to solve the issue of not being able to gift a pet to their friends in the game. The developer of the game has temporarily disabled the ability to gift pets to your friends.
What you can do as a Grow a Garden player is wait until the developer puts a statement that gifting pets to your friends has been re-enabled. Restarting the game or doing anything will not fix the issue.
Why Is Pet Gifting Disabled in Grow A Garden?
The feature has been disabled because there have been reports of people using scripts to duplicate or make clones of their pets, i.e., duplicate pets. A lot of these scripts were run using third-party clients, and people who had these scripts were simply duplicating an endless number of pets.
With the pet gifting feature disabled, the developer is working on removing all the cloned or duplicated pets that have been created by people running the dupe scripts. Nobody knows how many duplicate pets are in the game right now, which simply means it can take time for the developer to remove all of these cloned/duplicate pets from the game completely.
When Was Pet Gifting Disabled in Grow a Garden?
The ability to gift pets to your friends was pushed on July 2, 2025. It has been 4 days since the feature has been disabled. This can also explain why there have been no new codes for players to redeem in Grow a Garden.
Hopefully, we can expect the developer to bring the feature back again in a few days. For now, all you need to do is wait or trade other items, such as crops, with your friends. Even sending seed packs, eggs, cosmetics, and other items is not possible at this time.
