EA Sports Rebrands FIFA Games To EA Sports FC

When you think about Electronic Arts (EA), a lot of games come to mind. Moreover, a good number of sports games come to mind. You have numerous games such as FIFA, NBA 2K series, PGA Tour, F1, NHL, Madden, and UFC just to name a few. One of the most profitable and famous games from EA has to be FIFA. Simply because there is a large number of football-playing nations and there are a large number of football fans- more than you would possibly think of.

However, things have changed for the popular football game and also for EA. You see, EA has been using the FIFA branding for its football games for so many years, the latest game is FIFA 23. However, this is now being changed and EA will now no longer be using the FIFA branding for any of its newer football games that the studios plan to release from now onwards. So, yes we will be seeing an EA Sports FC instead of FIFA 24 later this year.

The rebranding is now live and has also got a new logo that will be seen on the newer football games from EA. With EA Sports FC, you can expect more than a thousand types of football matches under the FC umbrella. So yes, you will be getting to see teams from Premier Leagues,  La Liga, Bundesliga, CONMEBOL, Barclay’s Women’s Super League, and NWSL just to name a few.

This is indeed going to be a new step in the right direction for football games. We can expect to see a lot of improvements in the gameplay, players as well as all the teams that you can choose to play in the game. Looking at whether the games will be having real football players, EA Sports FC has stated that there will be all officially licensed players under this new branding.

With regards to the players and fanbase, the rebranded football game will always be called FIFA simply because it is a brand name that has been stuck in everyone’s heads for years. This will obviously take some time to change and it will have a positive effect depending on how EA releases the new football game later this year. EA Sports will also be revealing more information about EA Sports FC later in July.
