Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 – Quick Overview
Xiaomi’s latest foldable smartphone goes official in mainland China and the company did not share any details about international availability at the event. Starting from the front, then the foldable features an 8.03-inch foldable panel which is a 120Hz LTPO OLED+ panel. The cover screen on the Fold 3 is a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel and supports 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of power, the foldable is billing with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and runs on MIUI 14 based Android 13.
Xiaomi announces the new foldable in three variants – 12GB RAM / 256GB Storage, 16GB RAM / 512GB Storage, and 16GB RAM / 1TB Storage. For security, the Mix Fold 3 has a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner. In terms of optics, the Mix Fold 3 has a quadruple-camera setup on its back featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP periscope camera. For selfies, the foldable has a 20MP shooter on the cover screen.
