This year, the Poco F7 series comes with several upgrades, including a telephoto camera on the F7 Ultra, a 7,550mAh battery on the vanilla F7, and the Snapdragon chips across all three models, with the Ultra getting the Snapdragon 8 Elite. One of the leading highlights of all three phones is the camera, thanks to the new hardware setup and software features.

The Poco F7 and F7 Pro are billing with a dual-lens camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. It uses Quad Bayer pixel binning tech to capture high quality images. On the software side, the phone has a familiar stock camera app, as seen on many recent Xiaomi and Poco phones.
The phone captures decent photographs in both daytime and nighttime, including those captured with 2x zoom. The same can be said for video recording and selfies. However, the images captured with ultra-wide mode are fairly basic.
