Download Google Camera 9.2 for Nothing Phone 3a Pro

Nothing recently added two new mid-range phones to its lineup: Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro. The camera is the leading attraction of the two phones.

The Pro model is billing with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GNJ sensor, a periscope-style 50MP 3x telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Needless to say, the stock camera app delivers solid photo quality. However, when tested with a GCam port, the difference is noticeable – images captured using GCam consistently offer improved detail and more balanced lighting.

Does GCam outperform the stock camera on the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro?

We tested the GCam port on both the Nothing Phone 3a and the Phone 3a Pro, and the results were quite similar. When it comes to daylight conditions, the images captured with GCam offer better color reproduction, whether itโ€™s the blue of the sky or the green tones in plants and trees.

As expected, the Google Camera captures better low-light photos, retains details, shadows, and textures. Additionally, the dynamic range is better. The same is the case with the video recording.

Nothing optimizes the stock camera app to take better selfies. It produces better skin tones compared to the GCam port.
