Download Google Camera 9.2 for Moto G96

Summarize This Article:

The Moto G85 was one of Motorola’s best-selling mid-range phones last year. Now, the company has announced its successor in the form of the Moto G96. The new entrant brings several upgrades, including a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, an IP68 rating, a bigger battery, and upgraded cameras.

Moto G96 is billing with a dual-camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor. The third sensor on the smartphone is a 32MP snapper placed on the front. The smartphone captures bright and nice images with the built-in camera app.

If you want to enhance the camera performance, you can try out the Pixel Camera app, aka GCam mod port. Here you can download Google Camera for Moto G96.

On the software side, the Moto G96 features Motorola’s familiar stock camera app, as seen on many recent Motorola phones. You’ll miss out on AI features available on the company’s Edge and Razr line of phones. In terms of performance, after testing the Moto G96, I found that the phone captures decent photos in daylight with good details and dynamic range, though saturation tends to be on the higher side.

The phone captures balanced photos in low-light conditions as well, using the main sensor. However, the ultra-wide-angle sensor shots are just to the point. Now, if you’re looking for a third-party camera app for Moto G96, you’ll be glad to know that the GCam 9.2 and many other ports work fine on the new entrant.

The newest version of Google Camera – GCam 9.2 supports various useful features including astrophotography and night sight. The latest port works on the Moto G96 and supports all these features.

Moto G96 users can easily install Google Camera port on their devices, thanks to the Camera2 API support. Below we attach two GCam ports and you’ll be glad to know that both ports work fine on the new phones. Here are the download links.

Note: Before Installing the new Gcam Mod ported app, make sure to delete the older version (if you’ve installed). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so it may have some bugs.
