Download Digital WellBeing APK: Best Anti-Smartphone Addiction Method

Are you & your kids are addictive to their smartphone? I know 86 out of 100 people’s answer is Yes! So, Android Pie 9.0 comes with a feature which helps you to reduce the addiction. However, You need to download an app named Digital WellBeing APK on your smartphone.

Digital WellBeing is in Beta right now for Google’s Pixel phones, Android One, and other devices, which are running on Android Pie. We all spent a lot of time on smartphones, and we can’t be able to disconnect with phones in any way. Google also knows about it and introduces a feature named Digital WellBeing with Android 9.0 Pie. AndroidCentral gives a unique name to this feature – Google’s Anti-Smartphone Addiction Feature. Well, You just need to sign up for the beta testing application in Pixel phones, and it will unlock the Digital WellBeing in the Settings. While on other phones like OnePlus 6 or any Android One phone you need to download &  install Digital WellBeing APKdigital wellbeing apk

Note: There’s no need to Install Digital WellBeing on Pixel Phones, You just need to update your device to Android Pie (Android 9.0). After Installing or Updating to Android Pie, sign up for the beta testing program. Then, follow the link which is attached in Email for beta sign up program. It will get you to the Play Store and enable the locked Digital WellBeing’s feature. Now, Go to Settings and it is available there.

How to Download Digital WellBeing APK

If your smartphone is running on Android Pie 9.0, Then you can quickly get this feature on your smartphone. Like, We have tested this feature on OnePlus 6 without Beta sign up. [appbox googleplay com.google.android.apps.wellbeing]

  1. At first, Download the Digital WellBeing APK from APKMirror.
  2. Now, Install the app on your OnePlus 6. Make sure to Enable “Unknown Sources” or “Install Unknown Apps” from the device settings.
    • For Nougat, Go to Settings > Security > Enable “Unknown Sources”.
    • For Oreo, Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Special App Access.
  3. Once Done, Open the app.
  4. That’s it.

What is Digital WellBeing?

When you open the app, the first thing you’ve seen is the Dashboard, which will show you the overall usage of apps & time with the pie chart. It also shows the number of unlocks and total Notifications. Well, That’s not all. There are so many useful features comes with Digital WellBeing. You can also click on any app for looking into the in-depth details. Also, If you want to change app notification, you can change into two settings – Most frequent  or Most recent. Some apps, like YouTube you can also see the in-app stats, which will show you the overall usage. It will show you the history & you can set the reminders. Though, If you set the usage time limit, then try over using the app, it will freeze the app and change the app color into grey. If you were trying open the app, it would show you the pop-up like; the app isn’t available, or the time pauses it. It is also a useful feature for those who are playing fortnite or PUBG all day.
