Apple releases the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 Public stable update (Download Now)

After wrapping the event on 15th September, Apple released the GM build for iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 for beta testers. And finally today Apple has rolled out the public stable build of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to everyone. Both iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 were in beta phase for a long time now and in total, Apple released eight beta updates. If you have an iPhone or iPad running on iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 then your wait is over. This is the first time that Apple released the public iOS build just after the GM edition without even a single day gap. The iOS 14 Beta 8 was stable enough to be used in a daily driver. Download and Install iOS 14 Final Update

The best thing about Apple is that they roll out updates in a single push to every user, unlike the Android update. And the iOS 14 stable & iPadOS 14 stable update is now available for everyone. So if you have an iPhone or iPad that is eligible for iOS 14 then you can install it right away on your Apple device.

To update your device to the latest iOS 14 stable or iPadOS 14 stable, first, go to Settings and then go to the software update section. The manually check for the new update.

In case if you have installed the iOS 14 GM or iPadOS 14 GM then you will not receive the public build as it is similar to the GM. But if you want to install the public update then you need to first remove beta remove from your device. You can find the steps given below to remove beta profile.

Note: Removing the beta profile will stop the further beta updates. And to get Beta updates again, you need to reinstall the Beta profile.

How to Remove Beta Profile from iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to General and then Profile.
  3. Now it will show the Beta profile installed on your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Click on the available beta profile.
  5. Then click on the Remove Profile button.
  6. If it asks for the passcode, then enter your device passcode and click the Remove button.

Now Beta profile is removed from your device. And you can install a stable public release on your Apple device.

To download and install iOS 14 Final build on iPhone or iPadOS 14 Final build on iPad go to Settings > General. Then tap on the Software Update option. It will display the latest public release update. In this case, it will show iOS 14 stable or iPadOS 14 stable updates. Tap on Download and Install and wait for the process.

After reboot, you can use your Apple device with the latest iOS or iPadOS update.
