Realme has just announced the Android 13 open beta update for Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G. The OEM started testing its newest Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 skin on the two phones via a closed beta program last month. If you are in a haste and want to try out the new features of Realme UI 4.0, then you can opt-in to the Android 13 beta program.

As always, Realme officially shared the details of the open beta program on its community forum. Those who want to try out the Realme UI 4.0 skin need to update their phone to the latest software. You need to install the C.06 build on your Realme 8 or Narzo 30 5G. Anyone can take a part in the open beta program, so, if your phone is running on the older software, make sure to update it to the newer version.

In terms of changes, then Realme equipped the new aquamorphic design elements seen on Oppo and OnePlus phones runningย Android 13. The update also comes with features such as updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.

Whether you own the Realme 8 5G or Realme Narzo 30 5G, you can easily join the open beta program, all you need to do is, navigate to Software Update in Settings and tap on gear icon at the top right corner, then select Trial version and enter the required details. Now once your application got approved, you will receive the open beta update on your phone with F.02 build number.

As Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 is a major upgrade it requires a huge amount of data for downloading, so make sure you have enough data. Also, make sure to take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software.
