Realme announces Android 13 early access beta for Realme 8 5G and Narzo 30 5G

Following the global release of the new Realme UI 4.0 custom skin last week. The company has announced the early access beta for two compatible models – Realme 8 5G and Realme Narzo 30 5G. Realme UI 4.0 is the latest iteration in the company’s custom skin, which is based on Android 13. If you own the Realme 8 5G or Realme Narzo 30 5G, then you can give a try to the latest skin.

Realme has officially announced the early access beta on its community forum. The company says both the Realme 8 5G and Narzo 30 5G need to be running on the C.04 / C.06 build number. If your phone is on an older version, then update it to the newer version. And the firm has also mentioned that there are limited seats in the early access program, so you might want to be quick.

Speaking about the changes and features, then Realme equipped the new aquamorphic design elements seen on Oppo and OnePlus phones running Android 13. The update also comes with features such as updated AOD, a dynamic computing engine for performance enhancements, a Private Safe tool, support for more color palettes, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, and more.

Now if you own Realme 8 5G or Realme Narzo 30 5G and want to try out the new Realme UI 4.0 based Android 13 skin through the early access program, then you can easily take a part in the beta program.

First things first, make sure your phone is running on the latest version – C.04 / C.06, if you are on the latest version, then go to the Software Update in Settings and tap on gear icon at the top right corner, then select Trial version and enter the required details.

Make sure to take a backup of important data before updating your device to the new software. Also, charge your device to at least 60%. You can also roll back to the Android 12 stable version in the future if you want, the steps are listed on Realme’s community forum, check the sources available in the end of this article for rollback steps.
