How to Access any Website using IP Address

Sometimes accessing a website via domain name is not possible, do you know we can access any website by an IP Address. Yes, It is possible to access any website via its own IP Address on any PC, Smartphone (Android / iOS), or any other product. In this post, I will tell you the simple way to access any website by the help of IP Address, without the need of IIS (Internet Information Services). Here, is the simple way to Access any Website using IP Address.

How to Access any Website using IP Address:

Note: Here, I tried this on my Laptop with Windows 10.

  1. At first, you need to open the Command Prompt, need to head to Start Button > Accessebilities > Command Prompt. Or, you can also use the shortcut by searching Run in Start and write CMD then press enter. The final way to open CMD is open the start menu then search for CMD. (That’s not an issue of opening CMD, you can open CMD by any way).
  2. Under Command Prompt (CMD), type “ping domain name of the website”, for example “ping google.com”, and hit the enter now you will see that the process is starting, this process hardly takes 1-5 seconds then it will show the IP Address of the Website which you want.Access any Website using IP Address
  3. Now copy the IP Address, by select the IP Address using CTRL + C.
  4. Enter the IP Address on your web browser and press the enter, now you will see that the website is opening without entering the address.
