Here’s when the first batch of Galaxy devices will get One UI 7 in Canada

Samsung will officially release the stable One UI 7 from April 7. However, carrier-locked models will follow the specific carrierโ€™s routine. Fortunately, carriers have also started releasing the One UI 7 roadmap for the first batch, which includes the Galaxy S24 series and the sixth-generation foldables. Telus, a Canada-based carrier company, has disclosed the stable One UI 7 update roadmap for April.

Hereโ€™s the One UI 7 release schedule for April, as provided by Telus:

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 – April 11
  • Samsung Galaxy S24+ – April 11
  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra – April 11
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 – April 11
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 – April 11

These are the models that will receive the stable One UI 7 update in the first wave. The second wave might start by end of this month, or in the next month.

If you have a mentioned model and are from Canada, make sure to regularly check for the update from the mentioned release date.

One UI 7 introduces one of the biggest changes in the One UI history. Depending on your device model, you can expect UI changes, new quick settings and notifications layout, NowBar, new AI features, and more. While Samsung didnโ€™t hesitate to pack in new features, they did delay the update significantly.

The six-month wait for the Android 15-based One UI 7 will finally come to an end this month with its stable release. While the latest flagship model will receive the update early, users with other models may have to wait a bit longer. The update rollout will start this month, but it could take few months until all devices receive the update.

If you own a Galaxy device thatโ€™s eligible for the One UI 7 update, you can prepare your device for the update by backing up your data. The One UI 7 update will be rolled out gradually through OTA updates from the release date.

The One UI 7 is currently available in beta for select Galaxy models. If your device isn’t on the above list, which means the update might take longer, but you can still try the beta version.
