Someone’s Brought the Pet Rabbit from R1 to the iPhone Home Screen

Tech companies are striving to integrate artificial intelligence into every gadget. We’ve seen some interesting inventions early this year at MWC including Humane’s AI Pin and Rabbit R1. The R1 is a handheld AI personal virtual assistant that can answer all of your queries with the help of rabbitOS and LAM.

The handheld device’s design stands out, thanks to its bright orange accent, analog scroll wheel, 360° rotational eye camera, and push-to-talk button. The device costs $200, but you can’t do as much on it as one can do on any modern-day smartphone.

Kamran Mokhtar, who is a widget designer (as mentioned in his Twitter (now X) Bio) made a personalized widget that looks like the R1 handheld and the best part is you can interact with it. This widget, designed to resemble the AI-powered handheld, displays the Rabbit logo, custom text, a weather icon, and an additional clickable button.

Kamran shared the widget in small size, you can easily import it on your iPhone’s home screen using a very popular third-party widget app, named, Widgy. He shared the widget’s QR code that you can use to import it on your iPhone.

If you want to add the Rabbit R1 custom widget to your iPhone’s home screen, then first you need to download Widgy app. When you open the app you will see the Import option at the top, tap on it and scan the QR code or import it from the Files or Photos library and then save it by tapping the back button at the top left corner.

Now you can simply add a new widget on the home screen, by pressing and holding on an empty area and then choosing the + icon at the top left corner followed by the widgy Rabbit R1 widget. That’s it!

You can customize the widget and the text by tapping on it and then changing the custom text to anything you want.

You can tap the weather icon to see the weather and the date icon to get today’s date information.
