Samsung has already kicked-off its newest skin One UI 3.0 based Android 11 update for a list of Galaxy phones. Now the company is planning to bring its Android 11 based skin to the mid-range smartphones. The company starts recruiting Galaxy M31 users to test One UI 3.0 via beta program. The first beta of One UI 3.0 for Galaxy M31 is rolling out with M315FDDU2ZTLF build number and weighs around 1.7GB of download size. Samsung Galaxy M31 users in India can apply for the beta access, hopefully, it will be expanded to other regions in the coming days. Although, according to the official changelog, the Galaxy M31 would get the stable update in March 2021. Samsung Galaxy M31 is set to receive new features like overhauled Notification panel and long press menu for apps, new Volume controls layout, intuitive lock screen and Bixby Routines, a flurry of customizations to AOD, and much more. This One UI 3.0 beta also brings the December 2020 monthly security patch, not only this, but it also comes with the essential features of Android 11.
As it’s a beta update, we didn’t recommend sideloading on your primary device. The beta updates are not much stable, but if you’re in a haste and want to update your device to the latest Android 11 update.
If you want to update your Galaxy M31 to One UI 3.0 beta then you can simply apply from Samsung Members app. Here you can check the full process by which you can easily join One UI 3.0 beta program. After applying to the beta program, you’ll receive a special OTA on your smartphone. Before downloading the update make sure to take a backup and charge your phone to at least 30%.
